Questions, Musings, and Perhaps some facts about Things the Pope owns, Powers that the Pope has, and The People and Places those things and powers affect

It’s tough being the last surviving member of your species.  Sometimes it helps to sing about it.

I’m going to start off with some obvious Things the Pope Owns just to get them out of the way. THING THE FIRST SHALL BE: The Popemobile (which is one word according to Wikipedia: like the Batmobile, not a hyphenate like the Gnome-mobile). There are many different models of the Popemobile; it seems that they started to be a thing in the ‘60’s with Ford leading the way. Mercedes-Benz and several other manufacturers have also served the Vatican transport needs. It hath been written that the newer Mercedes model tops out at 160mph and 0-60’s in 6 seconds (source). The pictured model’s secondary usage was as one of the range rovers in Jurassic Park, though unlike the Jurassic Park rovers, this one is both bullet and raptor-proof.
Does the Pope have to pay for Popemobiles, or are they gifted/donated to him? Unclear. I also don’t know how many Popemobiles he owns, or what he does with them after they are replaced by a newer model. I hope that they are passed along to inner-city areas with high gun-crime rates to be used as school buses. Or perhaps the Swiss Army uses them as tanks. Research is thus far inconclusive.
The Daily Beast, the number one source for Pope-related news, reported that in 2002, Pope John Paul II asked journalists to stop calling it the Popemobile because ”he thought it sounded ‘undignified.’” So we can conclude that while the Pope has a fair amount of power over the auto industry in that he is able to get people to design and produce several models of a one-of-a-kind car that he may or may not have to pay money for, he does not have control over auto-related press.
